NICELEY is a fictitious but pretty little village situated in that part of the countryside where we would all like to live. The railway arrived here in the late 1800’s and serves the local area including the nearby villages of Goodley, Thatchley, Spudley and Great Scratchington. We are lucky to arrive today as the market is in full swing and the nearby pub is serving delicious food and of course the usual liquid refreshment.
If you need a drop of petrol to get home, Mr Jackson at the little garage will be happy to oblige. It is reported that an animal has escaped from a local zoo and was last seen heading this way. Please let us know if you see it !!! Meanwhile, enjoy yourself driving one of the railway engines from the station and through our lovely countryside.
So, young and old, please indulge your wildest wish of running a railway, albeit for a short time and on a small scale. Exhibitions are all about enjoying yourself.
